Spiralized Zucchini with Meat Sauce and Asian Ground Beef

What you need:

- 3 zucchini's

- 1lbs of lean ground beef ( will split in half 8oz each )


FOR MEAT PASTA SAUCE: MAKES 5 SERVINGS AND 1 SERVING IS 1/3 CUP FOR 2 SMART POINTS

- 8 oz of 96/4 lean ground beef

- 1 clove of garlic

- 1 cup great value traditional pasta sauce

- seasonings : garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, dried basil, red pepper flakes, salt n pepper


FOR ASIAN GROUND BEEF: MAKES 5 SERVINGS AND 1/3 CUP IS 1 SERVING FOR 2 SMART POINTS

- 8 oz 96/4 lean ground beef

- 1 tsp sesame seed oil

- 1 clove of garlic

- 2 tbsp low sodium soy sauce

- 2 tbsp ginger paste

- 1 tbsp sweet chili sauce

- season with red pepper flakes, garlic powder and black pepper


How to make:

Step 1: Cut ends of your zucchini then sprialize them into a bowl, dry them by placing them on top of a few paper towels and pat dry them then add back into bowl and set aside.


Step 2: In a skillet add 2 cloves garlic chopped with oil spray let simmer then add your 1 lb of lean beef and cook until no longer pink. Next get a small pot and add in 1 cup of pasta sauce with all your seasoning place lid on and simmer on low.


Step 3: Separate your beef add 1 cup which is about 8oz into the pasta sauce stir together place lid back on and simmer together on low heat.


Step 4: In the pan you cooked the beef in add 1 tsp of sesame oil, 2 tbsp soy sauce, 2 tsp ginger paste, 1 tbsp sweet chili sauce, and your seasonings. Stir together so beef is coated well and let simmer for additional 3 minutes. Turn burners off and let cool then store in containers in fridge.
