Spinach Sausage and Bean Soup

Makes 6 servings and 1 1/3 cup is one serving for 3 points.



What you need:

- 13 oz butterball everyday hardwood smoked turkey sausage

- 27 oz can of pinto beans

- 32 fl oz chicken broth

- 1 white onion, diced

- 2 handfuls of spinach

- 1 cup diced tomatoes

- 3 tbsp lemon juice

- salt + pepper, garlic powder, onion salt, and dried parsley


How to make:

Cut your sausages into dice size medium pieces , also dice your white onion, and tomatoes. Rinse and drain your pinto beans, in a crockpot add beans, onion, sausage, chicken broth, and lemon juice. Cook on high for 5-6 hours, once soup is done turn crockpot off and add diced tomatoes and spinach for additional 8 minutes with the lid on.
