Makes 5 servings and 1 cup is a serving for 5 Smart Points!
What you need:
- 7oz barilla protein plus spaghetti pasta
- 1 container of baby bella mushrooms, rinsed and drained
- fresh parsley
- 3 tbsp light butter ( I cant believe its not butter spread)
- oil spray
- 1 cup diced onions
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1/3 cup grated parm cheese
- seasonings: salt + pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, red pepper flakes
How to make:
Start boiling you water with a pinch of sea salt, add your pasta once it gets to a boil and let cook for the time instructions say on box, next cut your mushrooms, onions, garlic, and parsley.
Place 1 tbsp of butter into a skillet and add your garlic and onions cook for 3-4 minutes, next add mushrooms and the rest of your 2 tbsp of butter, add your seasonings mixing everything together and let cook for additional 2-3 minutes.
Next add your pasta to the pan, add your 1/3 cup of cheese and make sure your heat is on low, turn burner off and serve with fresh parsley and optional extra red pepper flakes and black pepper to the top.
