D I N N E R / French Onion Turkey Meatballs


Makes 19 meatballs and 1 meatball is 1SP



What you need:

- 97 3 lean ground turkey

- 1 white onion

- 1 cup fat free shredded mozzarella

- 3 tbsp & 1/2 cup of beef broth

- 2 tbsp of white flour ( 1 tbsp for meat mixture) and ( 1 tbsp for gravy)

- salt + pepper,  garlic + onion powder, and dried Italian seasoning


How to make:

Step1 - In a bowl add your ground turkey, seasonings, and 1 tbsp flour to help keep balls together. Mix together with hands and form your turkey balls.


Step2- Next in a skillet spray with olive oil spray , add your onions you have sliced thin with 3 tbsp beef broth and let cook until soft then remove once soft.


Step3- Add your meatballs into the same skillet and let meatballs brown amd cook on each side. Then take out of the pan and set aside.


Step4- Add your onions back into the pan, add your 1 tbsp of flour onto the onions, last add 1/2 cup of broth and let simmer for a minute continuing whisking together until thick with no chunks. Optional for thinner gravy add 1 tbsp of water.


Step5- Add your onions and gravy into a casserole dish I used 7 x 11 dish, then place meatballs on top, now add your 1 cup fat free shredded cheese, and top with black pepper + salt, and dried italian. Bake on 400 for 15-20 minutes.
