Split Pea Soup


Makes 9 servings, 1 cup per serving for 1 Smart Point.


What you need:

- 7.5 oz 98% fat free ham steak

- 1 pound green split peas, dried

- 6 cups chicken broth

- 3 celery stalks with leaves

- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

- 2 garlic cloves, minced

- 1 cup carrots, diced

- 1 bay leaf


Seasonings:

- Salt + pepper, minced onion


How to make:

Step1- Cut your veg, garlic, ham, and parsley.


Step2- Add everything into your crockpot and place the lid on, cook on high for 4-5 hours.
